It has been more than two years since Hurricane Sandy struck the Northeast Coast of the United States. Thousands of homes were devastated and millions of people impacted. Southern Baptists have been on the front lines serving since day one. But there are still thousands of homeowners in the New York City area who need help.

That’s why I am asking Southern Baptists to help us spread the word about this need. We need you and the members of your church to consider giving some time to serve in the next few months. College students might think about giving a week during Christmas break or Spring break. We need people of all ages and with all kinds of skills as we help homeowners rebuild their homes and their lives.

We have just extended our time for the Sandy Rebuild to run until August of 2015, so this could even be an option for a summer mission project.

To get started, email sandy@namb.net or call 770-410-6075.

This is a great opportunity to carry the hope of the Gospel as we meet very tangible needs for people whose lives have been de-railed. Thanks for considering how you can play a part. God bless you and thank you for all you do to push back lostness in North America.

Partnering Together,
Kevin Ezell
