The 2016 Annual Church Profile (ACP) information will go out in the mail on Friday, October 21. If you do not receive your envelope by Friday, Oct 28, please contact Mandy at the BCI office.
Your church will receive an envelope with instructions for completing your ACP online as well as a paper form. The online instruction letters include your church’s SBCID and log in information.
Lifeway suggests that you may find it easier to complete the included paper worksheet before entering information online.
Each year the Baptist Convention of Iowa and other SBC entities gather data to give us a picture of what is happening in affiliated churches. The name of the report is the Annual Church Profile (ACP). The information that your church provides assists the Convention in planning how to best serve affiliated churches.
Believe it or not, we regard the completion of this profile as a key component of our ministry partnership. Please take a few minutes and complete the online form.
Important instructions for completing the 2016 Annual Church Profile:
- Use the statistics from a recent 12-month period of your choice. The important thing is for your church to be consistent each year. Common reporting periods are the school year (Aug to July), fiscal year (Oct to Sept or July to June) or calendar year (Jan to Dec) for their reporting.
- If you are not comfortable sharing some of the information requested, don’t feel obligated. Instead, mark that question with a zero ‘0’.
- If you are not sure of an exact figure, please give your best estimate.
Thank you for your participation. If your fiscal year has already ended, please submit your report by the date shown on your instruction letter. For those reporting on the 12-month calendar year, please submit by January 15, 2017.
Your church may choose to submit only the paper form. Those forms will be mailed to the address listed on your instruction sheet.
