In 150 words or less, please explain why you think this person is a good candidate for this position:
Ken has been married to his wife, Jolene, for 33 years. Together they have raised four children and now enjoy their family which includes their children’s spouses and grandchildren. Ken grew up under the teaching of Ed Gregory at Immanuel Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids. Ken graduated with a Masters Degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002.  Ken will represent our state well helping to find balance between the unique needs and desires of churches in various settings; rural and big city, traditional and contemporary, church planting and church revitalization, etc. Over and above strategy and planning Ken will fight and stand for the centrality of the proclamation of the Gospel.
