Heartland Baptist Chapel in Ida Grove commemorated 24 years of ministry in the Ida Grove Community.
Those still involved in ministry at Heartland at the time of its closing were (left to right):
Interim Pastor Steve Rice, Denise Carlin, Jason Carlin, Marilyn Carlin, Martha Anderson and Roger Anderson.
A time of singing and testimonies was held on Sunday afternoon, June28. It was a time of rejoicing and a time of sorrow. The church will become
the home for a Christian preschool in the future.
The remaining members would love to provide another church with their pulpit furniture (pulpit/communion
table) and 21-10 feet pews in oak. All very nice. They also have an organ in good shape. Contact John Shaull at 515-250-1685 if you are interested in any of the furniture.
Thank God for His work through the people of this congregation for nearly 25 years.
