“I look forward to the leadership that I believe Dr. Tim Lubinus will provide to the Baptist Convention of Iowa and the churches that compose it. Tim comes to the BCI with a depth of experience and with a heart to reach not only his community and state where he lives, but also the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is an exciting day for me to think that God has raised up a native Iowan to lead the ministry of the BCI and has given to us a person that not only understands our culture but the cultures of the world. I believe Tim will demonstrate a servant’s heart with a listening ear and will allow the Holy Spirit to lead him in the critical decisions that the Convention will face in the future. I encourage all pastors and churches to pray for our new Executive Director and to personally seek out those opportunities to develop relationship with Tim.
