DESCRIPTION:We are we pleased to announce our 2019 Preaching Workshop on Friday\, August 23rd at First Family Church in Ankeny. \n  \nPreparing Proclaimers: Sharpening the Skills of those called to handle the Scriptures\n  \nThe special guest speaker for this year’s Preaching Workshop will be Noah Oldham. Noah is the lead pastor at August Gate Church in St. Louis\, a gifted Bible teacher\, and a great leader. \n  \n  \nWORKSHOP TOPICS\n  \n\nBasic Exegesis and sermon formation\nImproving as a Preacher\nPreaching to Make and Multiply Disciples\nEvaluating your worship services for gospel effectiveness\n\n \nABOUT OUR SPEAKER\n  \nNoah Oldham serves as the Send City Missionary in St Louis\, MO. He is also the Lead Pastor of August Gate Church\, a multi-gathering church with multiple locations that he planted in St Louis in 2009. Noah’s passion is to help plant and develop missional\, gospel-centered churches that are passionate about living a life of worship\, unashamed of Jesus\, His Word and His name\, empowered by the Holy Spirit\, hungry to know God\, and desperate to see others redeemed and born again.
