Join one of the two BCI Spring Cohorts
This spring we have two BCI Ministry Cohorts that we want to invite church leaders to jump into. The two cohorts are the Children’s Ministry Cohort and the Youth Ministry Cohort.
What Is A “Cohort?”
A cohort is a small group of church leaders, usually serving in the same role in their church, that have gathered to learn from one another and grow in their leadership. Through the cohort meetings participants get to know other ministry leaders from around the state that are serving in the same position. They get to share their joys and challenges and learn from others’ experiences.
Cohorts are a collaborative learning environment that generally centers around a particular topic. The goal is to help church leaders take whatever steps they need to grow in their leadership role. Check out the two cohorts below to see if they are right for you!
Children’s Ministry Cohort
COORDINATOR: Leslie Banwart, Children’s Ministry Director at Restoration Church in Adel
DATES: March 21st, April 18th, and May 16th
TIME: 12:00p–3:00pm
LOCATION: Roy R. Estle Memorial Library, 1308 Walnut Street, Dallas Center
All children’s ministry directors are welcome to join the BCI Children’s Ministry Cohort for a time of learning and fellowship with others who minister to the children and families in our churches. The three Spring cohort meetings will focus on understanding our God-given strengths and utilizing them for God’s kingdom. Youth Ministry Cohort

We invite any staff or volunteer youth ministry leader to participate in upcoming Youth Ministry Leader Cohort events. The goal is for youth leaders to get to know one another, feel supported, have resources they need, and talk about issues facing each of us in our local context of student ministry. The youth cohort aims to provide fun and challenging gatherings as well as youth ministry resources, books, and curriculum.
