Iowa Southern Baptists will be gathering virtually on November 16th–19th for the 2020 BCI Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting is an important opportunity for Iowa church leaders to move “Forward in Faith” to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in Iowa and beyond.

Pastor Donovan Santamaria replanted Redeemer Church in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids. Redeemer sent Pastor Cole Deike to plant Frontier Church in Des Moines. Frontier is sending Pastor Nick Powell to plant Hope City Church in Clinton next year.

Hispanic Church Planting | Israel Becerra

Pastor Israel Becerra has joined BCI staff as a Church Planting Catalyst (CPC). Pastor Israel is the pastor of two Spanish language churches, Kairos Church in Marshalltown and Bautista Iglesia Hispana in Waterloo.

First Family Church in Albia, Iowa celebrated their 1st Anniversary as a church on Sunday, September 27th, 2020. Last September, FFC Albia was launched by Pastor Jason Laxton and their sending church, First Family Church, Ankeny.
