“Sharing the Gospel in a Secular Age”

– Trevin Wax, NAMB VP for Resources & Marketing

We live in a confusing cultural moment. Approaches to sharing the good news of Jesus that seemed effective just a few years ago may not connect with people in the same way today. How can churches faithfully engage our culture and help people see the truth and hope of the gospel?

At the 2026 BCI Ministry Conference & Annual Meeting, we’re excited to welcome Trevin Wax, author and Vice President of Resources and Marketing at the North American Mission Board. Our theme, Evangelism & Apologetics in a Secular Age, will help us think carefully about the challenges and opportunities facing churches today.

Trevin will join Tim Lubinus for a guided interview, present a workshop on “Cultural Apologetics and Counter-Catechesis: Tools for Evangelism in a Secular Age,” and lead a breakout on prayer. He’ll also bring the Ministry Banquet message Friday evening and preach at Saturday’s Annual Meeting.

Join us November 6th & 7th at Grace Church in Des Moines. Registration is free for BCI pastors and church leaders. Register by October 30th!
