$5k to Ukraine Refugee Ministry – BCI Expansion Plan

In the ongoing devastation of the war in the Ukraine, BCI has partnered with KBC Ministries in Moldova. Through the BCI Expansion Plan, we have contributed $5,000 to support the refugee relief efforts in Moldova, a key country receiving Ukrainian refugees since the beginning of the war.

If you attended the 2021 BCI Annual Meeting, you may have met our new Moldovan ministry partner, Evghenii (aka “Eugene”). Evghenii has been very active in serving refugees through his local church. He has posted several updates on the ongoing relief work on his Facebook page.

BCI Expansion Plan in Action

Sending relief funds to our ministry partners overseas is a great example of the Expansion Plan in action: utilizing reserve funds to propel the gospel in the area of “Multiply Mission.” Prior to the war in Ukraine, $5,000 of Expansion Plan funds had been designated to fund vision trips to mobilize Christians from Moldova, Albania, and Ukraine to go to Central Asia and the Middle East. While those plans have been postponed indefinitely, it is encouraging to know that the funds will be used to support gospel-centered relief work where it is needed today.
