This new ministry service is designed to deliver gospel-focused support for survivors and ministry leaders through a collaborative partnership between the SBC Executive Committee and the Evangelical Council for Abuse Prevention (ECAP).

Response Helpline call takers are equipped to help with the following:

• Reporting abuse to the appropriate authorities and the Credentials Committee
• Pairing callers with a professional coach provided by SBC EC through ECAP
• Referrals to qualified, trauma-informed, Christian counselors
• Guidance on abuse prevention measures
