As students got ready to head home for Thanksgiving break, they had the opportunity to come together on a Friday night for another Anthem event. The purpose of the event was to provide a night of extended corporate worship and prayer – and what a night it was!
For over two hours, hundreds of students and community members raised their voices in praise and adoration of our faithful God! One of the coolest things about this particular Anthem was its simplicity. In comparison to past Anthem events, this evening was stripped down to raw, heartfelt worship – and it was well worth it.
We love to encourage our students to spend time reflecting back on the semester and trace what God has done in, through, and around them. Pausing in the presence of God to express gratitude for who He is and what he has accomplished is a culture we want to continue to cultivate, not only within our ministry, but also within the church as a whole. So we are extremely grateful for Anthem events and the opportunity it gives us to come together as a corporate body in worship!
