Campers on Mission (COM) recently completed some work at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Altoona. A special thank you to all who helped, including church member David Short who helped every day and other members who also helped. We had nine COM members help with the work. The church now has a handicapped bathroom in the basement along with two other doorways that were widened. A handicapped cement ramp was poured on the west side of the church as well as a section of the sidewalk along the street. A lot of cleaning and painting was also done. COM is a group of volunteers who will work for you. You provide us a place to park our campers for up to five days, a 30 amp outlet(20 amp would work), the material, one meal would be nice, and we will do the work.
