The Baptist Convention of Iowa is partnering with the AFCA (American Football Coaches Association) to encourage BCI churches to incorporate the National Child ID Program into their programs for member churches.
We encourage BCI churches to provide Child ID Kits to children in their congregation and to families in the community as an outreach/evangelism tool. We would suggest that you distribute the kits at Easter time during a community visitation program announcing your Vacation Bible School and/or other community outreach events.
The BCI commits to matching the kits that are purchased by the participating churches kit for kit. So, for every kit you purchase for your congregation you have one to give out in the community. The price per kit is $4.00 (+ 8% shipping and handling). An order form will be sent to your church in January. A limited amount of GPS funds are available to help churches with this program.
