I read an article recently about how Iowa State football staff is using Twitter to enlist, track, and inform potential football players about Iowa State.
I must confess I never have been a Twitter user. But I realized in reading the article some very practical benefits to Twitter for church planting in Iowa. Here’s a few:
1) Keeping Iowa church planting on the minds of potential planters; also following them to know what they are doing
2) Keeping Iowa church planting on the minds of potential partners
3) Keeping Iowa church planting on the mind of Iowa Baptists
So, I am easing into the land of “tweets” with what I hope will be a once a day tweet to communicate the day to day developments that are going on with Iowa Church Planting. There are some exciting developments and I think that this information will be encouraging, informative, and challenging.
