In 2014, the results are in, and our Baptist Convention of Iowa affiliated churches gave significantly more to our state and national mission partners in 2014 than in 2013. Our Cooperative Program giving increased twelve percent, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering increased twelve percent, and our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering increased twenty percent. Good work, everyone! Our Iowa Missions Offering was also up about twelve percent from last year!
I would like to remind each of us that we agreed at our annual meeting in November to send half of all 2015 Cooperative Program receipts to our national mission partners. More than half of those funds will go to the International Mission Board, around twenty-three percent to the North American Mission Board, twenty-two percent to the six Southern Baptist Seminaries, and the remainder goes to other ministries like the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission.
