The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is one of the key ministry partners of the Baptist Convention of Iowa. NAMB has gone through an extensive transformation in the last few years and some of the changes have impacted the churches of the Baptist Convention of Iowa.

Tim Lubinus BCI Executive Director shared some insight into the upcoming video conference saying, “From time to time I have heard concerns from our pastors and other leaders about the direction of our partnership. For this reason I have invited Kevin Ezell to spend a morning with us to update us on the vision and direction of the North American Mission Board and to dialog with us in a question/answer format.”

Dr. Kevin Ezell serves as the President of the North American Mission Board, providing strategic vision, direction, and leadership as NAMB works to reach North America through evangelism and church planting.

Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He received a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, and a Doctorate of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) is the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) mission entity that exists to work with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists as a missional force to impact North America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and church planting. Through its Send North America strategy, NAMB will:

Mobilize churches, church planters and other missionaries to penetrate lostness and connect unchurched people with a local congregation
Equip church planters and sending churches for evangelistic church planting.
Plant churches within defined regions, people groups and large population centers (cities).
Please reserve the date for the video conference, Saturday, February 21 at 10:00am-12:00 noon at First Family Church in Ankeny, IA.
