We continue to be amazed by the work God is doing in the lives of our students. It is amazing to see the growth in the ministry and not be able to attribute it to anything that we are doing – it is solely Him that is causing it all to happen.
Most of February was spent planning and promoting for the Spring Retreat. Our retreat was a little bit different this year as we held it in a different location. We were blessed to be able to have it at Cornerstone Church in Ames. This allowed us to lower the normal retreat cost, which in turn allowed more students to be able to join us for the retreat. We had 206 students come to the retreat, which is the most we have ever had! We also had the UNI group join us and they brought 100 people. We had four speakers from Cornerstone give their life messages. It was amazing how God orchestrated what they talked about and the impact of those talks was huge in each of our student’s lives. The retreat was so much fun and many students got plugged in that were on the fringes of our ministry.
We also have continued to fund raise and plan for our mission trips. God is providing for each of our teams, and logistics for the trips are coming together well. We are really excited for what He will do through these students.
We will use March to begin to plan for our leadership interviews coming up in April. We anticipate having a lot of students apply and are eager to see how God grows the leadership team.
