First Family has a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children at River Hills Apartment Complex. River Hills is located in the neighborhood surrounding the Des Moines Botanical Center and includes a dozen or more immigrant groups representing several unreached people groups. On June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., First Family led a one-day Bible club for the complex. First Family is working in partnership with Saving Faith Outreach and several other area churches that are reaching out to the families of River Hills through a coordinated series of ministry events this summer.
