OUR CHALLENGES & GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

Last year brought many challenges to the churches and pastors of BCI. Many pastors are weary and discouraged. They are constantly being called on to make decisions on hot-button issues, realizing that, regardless of what they decide, they will not be able to please everyone. Unity has been elusive among many congregations and church leaders.

At the same time, we can still rejoice in God’s faithfulness in this difficult season. Although many churches experienced significant setbacks, none of our BCI churches have permanently closed due to COVID. In spite of the pandemic and social unrest, new churches were planted, and several established churches chose to join BCI. Even with all the unexpected difficulties faced in 2020, the vast majority of churches fared much better than had been predicted.

GENEROSITY WORTH CELEBRATING

Financially, we were encouraged by the generosity demonstrated by BCI churches in these uncertain times. Some of these encouraging developments we saw last year have been highlighted in the enclosed 2020 Impact Report. These numbers do not tell the whole story, but they do portray the ways in which our partnership continues to fuel our mission to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ even in these distressing times.

BCI partner churches should have received their Annual Giving Statement in mail on the week of January 18th, 2021 along with a copy of the 2020 BCI Impact Report. If your church did not receive your statement please contact our office.
