Over the month of January Harvest Bible Chapel in Grimes hosted church planters John & Sarah Fieck for a church planting internship. The church grew to love the Fieck family as their own before sending them off to Ogden, Utah to plant another life-giving, Gospel-centered and biblically-grounded church in one of the least evangelized metros in the US.
The Fiecks had received initial church planting training at the Harvest Church Planting Training Center in Elgin, IL before their 1-month internship in Grimes. They are now on the ground in Utah building a Core Group of believers with the hopes and prayers to launch public worship services sometime this coming Fall 2017. HBC Grimes will be coaching the plant until they are able to appoint their own plurality of pastors in Ogden with weekly Skype calls, multiple visits, resources, and prayers.
