Heartland Baptist Chapel in Ida Grove recently closed their doors but not their hearts to ministry in Iowa. The remaining church members provided $46,000 to the Baptist Convention of Iowa (BCI) to be used for church starting and the BCI small church fund.
We express our gratefulness to Marilyn Carlin, the Heartland treasurer (shown in photo presenting the check to John Shaull) with other members Roger and Martha Andersen and their grandson. We are grateful for their openness to use what God has provided to continue to touch lives eternally.
John Shaull presented the check from Heartland Baptist Chapel to BCI Executive Director Tim Lubinus during a staff meeting in October.
