Patricia “Patty” Kimberley, wife of church planter Tim Kimberley, passed away on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022. Patty leaves behind her husband Tim and three teenage children, Hannah, Silas, and Grace. Please pray for this family as they mourn their loss.
The funeral was on Monday, October 10th at 2:00pm at Sacred Mission Church which meets in the Collins-Maxwell Elementary School. Patricia “Patty” Kimberley, 45, of Collins, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Sacred Mission Church (Collins-Maxwell Elementary School, 416 4th Ave, Collins) at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Adair officiating. Burial will follow at the Peoria Cemetery in Rural Maxwell, Iowa.
Patty was born on February 14, 1977, to Daniel and Lynn (Fritsche) Peckskamp in Plymouth, Minnesota. She grew up in Casselberry, Florida and attended Lake Howell High School. Following high school, she attended Columbia Bible College in South Carolina where she earned her master’s degree. She married Timothy “Tim” Kimberley on January 3, 2004. The couple relocated to Dallas, Texas while Tim completed seminary school. They then moved to Hillsborough, Oregon and later Edmond, Oklahoma to serve with Frontline Church. Tim and Patty moved back to Collins, Iowa in 2019 and began Sacred Mission Church in Collins, Iowa.
Patty was a member of the Sacred Mission Church and served as a director Classical Conversations Homeschool Cooperative. She loved spending her days loving and homeschooling her children, caring for and supporting her husband, discipling other women, and being a dog mom.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Tim Kimberley of Collins, IA; children Hannah, Silas, and Grace all of Collins, IA; mother Lynn Peckskamp of Collins, IA; father Dan (Jane) Peckskamp of Egan, MN; sister Mary (Kevin) Oswalt of Collins, IA; brother Peter (Maryssa) Peckskamp of Appleton, WI; step-siblings Emily (Adam) Lawrence of MN, Arthur Peckskamp of MN, and Ann Peckskamp of MN; grandmother Carol Peckskamp of MN; in-laws Tom (Donna) Kimberley of Collins, IA; sister-in-law Jackie (Cory) Schowengerdt of Leavenworth, KS; brother-in-law Will (Ashlee) Kimberley of Inwood, IA; 12 nieces and nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers and a grandmother.
