On February 28, Israel and Paola Becerra Ledesma welcomed two daughters, Joy (4) and Grace (2), to their family through adoption.

Israel is pastor of Kairos Church in Marshalltown and Hispanic Baptist Church in Waterloo. He also serves as Church Planting Catalyst for Send Network.
