By Luke Peterson,

October has likely been the busiest month of the school year so far. While we continued in our normal rhythm of Connection Groups and Thursday night gatherings, we also had our Fall Retreat this month.

Our Connection Groups have seen steady growth in October as well. Every week there are students being added to groups and being plugged in through outreach, contacting us online or coming to Info Central at Salt Company.

We have seen God move in some really cool ways through our “Who is Jesus?” series. We have been privileged to get a consistent stream of students coming to Jesus through their interaction in Connection Groups that are based on the sermons being preached on Thursday nights.

Our Fall Retreat saw 842 students attend. We had Hidden Acres Christian Camp packed to the brim. Austin Wadlow (2019 church planter heading to Michigan State) was the main speaker. Several students gave their lives to Jesus, but several more made commitments to give their life to partnering with the local church to accomplish the mission before them.
