The Salt Company Logo AmesThe Muslim Ministry at the Salt Company has been going for a year and a half now, and we are blessed with great student leaders and Muslim friends. I got to bring a Shia Muslim friend from Iran to a New Year’s Eve party over winter break. We had a great time laughing, talking, and introducing him to a wider pool of believers. He has only been in America since August, and has been busy with school, so this was one of the first bigger groups he’s gotten to meet. On the way home, he started asking us about our faith. “Do you go to church every week?” he asked. We said yes, and got into a great discussion of how we love God’s scripture, and getting help learning to apply it to our lives. He agreed and is interested in visiting our church, and learning more about what our faith looks like.
