For the first time in 2020, the BCI Annual Meeting was held “virtually” rather than in-person. There were many things that changed as a result of that and one crucial item that may have gone under the radar for many BCI pastors was the “business meeting” portion.
VOTING PROCESS
Typically, the gathering of messengers would be called upon to vote on a few key proposals. Without an in-person meeting, the BCI Executive Committee was called on to vote as permitted by the BCI bylaws. Prior to the vote, the Executive Board gathered input from pastors at virtual “Town Hall” meetings. The two items voted upon were the 2021 BCI Budget and the 2021 BCI Executive Committee Officers.
