As the semester came to an end, the Salt Company interviewed students for leadership positions and finalized the mission trip teams. Jenny Calsyn, Salt Company coordinator says, “It has been exciting to see students apply for leadership and have a desire to be discipled more intentionally as well as lead others on campus towards Christ. We will be adding around 10 students to the leadership team and each of those students has an amazing story of how God has grabbed a hold of their life.”
The Spring Break trip to New Orleans will have 25 students going on mission. The team going to East Asia has eight members and will start having meetings together weekly. We also have a team of ten students going to Minneapolis next weekend to learn more about different cultures and how to reach out to them. Most of the students going are involved in international ministry on the University of Iowa campus so it will be awesome to see them come back and apply what they have learned.
