Pastor Gilmer Mauricio recently earned a doctorate in Christian Counseling from Doxa International University.
Dr. Mauricio’s thesis was title, “Causus Ocultas en el Suicido de Pastores.” He also recently delivered a conference on the topic in Brazil for a ministry called Wings of Health. Dr. Maurico planted Iglesia Bautista Hispana Emmanuel in Cedar Rapids and is now planting Iglesia Bautista Restauracion de Familiar in Marion. His wife Ethel Garay Vera serves alongside Gilmer in church planting ministry.
