INTERESTING FACTS
Cornerstone Baptist Church started in the early 1960s as a home Bible study. The fellowship quickly grew and took the name Berea Baptist Chapel as a full fledged church in 1963. The church was renamed a couple of times before taking it’s final name in 1983. The newly installed Evan Johnson serves as the 12th lead pastor.

As Pastor Johnson has just started serving a few weeks ago, please pray for Cornerstone Baptist Church to develop the leaders and skills necessary to hold effective Sunday services. Pray that Pastor Johnson would be able to develop a leadership team to share the burden of ministry and lead the church into a new season of effective gospel ministry in the Ankeny community.
