INTERESTING FACTS
Kairos is a church that reaches Hispanics in Marshalltown. Our services are in Spanish and about one quarter of the city of Marshalltown is Hispanic. One interesting thing about Kairos is that 100% of our church members were unchurched before joining. We think this is a great thing about our church since it means we are reaching people who would not otherwise have been in church. We have service every Saturday evening because we meet in a building with another church that uses it on Sunday mornings.
OTHER PRAYER REQUESTS
Pray for the members of Kairos to continue to reach out to more people in our community with the gospel. Pray that we would be able to overcome the challenges of long work hours in order to hold our Bible studies and have fellowship together as a spiritual family. Pray that we would be able to share the gospel effectively and overcome the barrier of religion as most people in our community have a background of Catholicism even though they do not attend church. Pray that we would be able to find, equip, and send more church leaders.
