Pulpit Supply Recommendation List
To assist BCI churches in securing preaching services during pastoral absences, the Baptist Convention of Iowa maintains a list of teachers who are members of BCI churches and have been endorsed by their pastors.
Find a Guest Teacher for Your Worship Service
The pulpit supply list is available as a downloadable PDF and includes the following information:
- Regional location
- Travel availability
- Home church and endorsing pastor
- Honorarium
Churches should contact the preachers directly, as the BCI does not arrange pulpit supply. We recommend that when extending an invitation, churches communicate all relevant details. These may include the arrival time, service start and end times, sermon text or topic, sermon length, travel reimbursement, honorarium, and any additional duties expected during the visit.
