After the biggest spring retreat Salt Company has ever had, students and staff alike walked away with a deeper understanding of the glory of Christ. The retreat speaker, Steve DeWitt, provided both a vast and glorious picture of who Christ is: Jesus is the author of creation; Jesus is the triumphant Savior, risen from the dead; Jesus is God and one day he will return and be crowned King over everything.
Over the course of three days, 685 students heard again and again that the purpose of life is to know Jesus and to make Him known. It is not about us. Rather, it is all about the glory of Christ. It is the story God is writing!
Ultimately, the retreat led us to stand in awe of the glory of Christ. We praise God for new life, thank Him for the opportunity we had to worship together, and take great joy in the gift of laughter and community we got to share.
