2020 BCI Virtual Annual Meeting

November 16th – 19th

Plan now to participate in the 2020 BCI Virtual Annual Meeting each evening on November 16th-19th. While we lament the fact we aren’t able to enjoy in-person fellowship at this year’s Annual Meeting, there are many great reasons that YOU should plan to join. Here are five of the top reasons why you should register now.

1. In-Depth Discussions

The Virtual Annual Meeting will feature in-depth conversations on topics that impact our convention and your church. The virtual format will allow us to have more focused and thorough conversations with influential leaders. We will go deep on issues with relevance throughout Iowa and throughout the Southern Baptist Convention.

2. Key National Guests

The Virtual Annual Meeting will feature one-on-one interviews with key SBC national leaders. We’ll hear from the heads of our national institutions: The SBC Executive Committee, IMB, NAMB, ERLC, and many more. BCI Director Tim Lubinus will interview these leaders on hot topics such as increasing our Cooperative Program giving and the significance of “Great Commission Baptists.”

3. A Focused Look at Iowa

The Virtual Annual Meeting will feature updates on our ministry partnerships in Iowa. This won’t be simply pre-recorded greetings, but personalized and contextualized to what is going on in our state. We’ll talk with pastors and ministry leaders around Iowa about issues that hit close to home. We believe this will be an even better overview of gospel ministry across our convention than we are able to achieve in our traditional format.

4. A Quality “Experience Box”

The Virtual Annual Meeting will feature a high quality “experience box” for each participant. Each pastor or church leader that registers to participate will receive a box in the mail containing an event program, useful print materials, free books, mugs, and lots of high-quality convenient extras to make a great experience.

5. A Look “Forward in Faith”

The Virtual Annual Meeting will give you insight into the faith-filled initiatives that will cultivate momentum in our convention for future ministry. Through the event, you’ll gain a better understanding of where we are headed as together we move “Forward in Faith.”

2020 has not been a typical year and this will not be a typical event. We hope you’ll plan now to participate in the 2020 BCI Virtual Annual Meeting.
