We’re excited to share with you about a new initiative that is starting up called the BCI Rural Ministry Initiative. This is an amazing opportunity for rural church leaders to come together and connect with other churches in our convention.
We have a video from Chris Mavity that explains more about this initiative and who it’s for. Chris has been working with a couple churches on pilot projects to put together resources and tools that will help rural churches grow and thrive.
Who is The Rural Initiative For?
The BCI Rural Ministry Initiative is for rural church leaders who want to benefit from resources from other churches in their area, as well as growing churches who want to reach out to the rural communities around them. Our goal is to connect churches together and help them grow in their ministry.
Rural Resources Available Now
We have a pilot project with First Family in Ankeny so that they are able to provide resources and support to help rural churches with some of their most pressing needs, including sermon media and small group materials. We want to extend this opportunity to other rural churches who want to take advantage of these same resources and tools.
