Introducing a new pastor is an exciting time for any church community. And for those in our BCI network of churches, there’s an added level of connection and support that comes with sharing ministry experiences and insights. We’re excited to welcome Pastor Wes Foster as the new pastor at True Bible Baptist Church in Des Moines, Iowa. With over 18 years of experience as an associate pastor and a background in community development, Pastor Wes is uniquely qualified to lead True Bible into its next chapter. We know that his experience and vision will be a valuable addition to True Bible and to the whole community of BCI pastors and church leaders.
A History of Faithful Leadership at True Bible Baptist
True Bible Baptist Church has a rich history of long-term, faithful leadership, and Pastor Wes is only the third pastor to serve the church in its 61-year history. Pastor Rod Bradley was the previous pastor and served for 25 years prior to his retirement last October.
To Serve the Community for Generations to Come
Pastor Wes’s vision for his personal ministry at the church is to revitalize and update things to become more relevant to young families today. The congregation understands the challenges before them and are determined to build a more robust foundation to ensure that the church can continue to serve its community with the gospel for generations to come. With Wes to provide leadership and guidance, True Bible Baptist Church is poised to enter a new era of growth and service to the community.
