Pastor Gilmer Mauricio and his family arrived from South America on November 8 2013, to plant a Spanish language church in Cedar Rapids. They held their first Spanish language two days later. This Sunday, November 9, They will be celebrating their one year anniversary. with a baptism ceremony, Lord’s Supper and an international dinner with all attendees.

“We are very happy and thankful to the Lord Jesus for this time and for allowing us to serve” Pastor Gilmer Mauricio said about his first year in Iowa. “We ask your prayers for our ministry and thank you also for the support cards submitted to us, because they are very well received by us. God bless you greatly in the Love of Christ”
