2026 Application Period Ends July 31st
The primary application period for 2026 funding ends July 31st. While the application remains open throughout the year, churches are encouraged to apply during this primary application period as grants are evaluated and awarded based on available funding.
Since 2016, the Baptist Convention of Iowa has invested more than $600,000 through the Iowa Ministry Fund (IMF) to strengthen gospel-centered ministries serving communities across Iowa.
One question we receive each year is, “Who should apply?” The application should be submitted by a local BCI church, not the ministry itself. That’s intentional. The Iowa Ministry Fund is designed to extend the reach of a church’s existing ministry partnerships by expanding the financial support already being provided to qualified gospel-centered ministries.
Each application is reviewed based on factors such as gospel impact, doctrinal alignment, ministry effectiveness, and partnership with local churches. Our goal is to strengthen ministries that are faithfully sharing Christ while meeting tangible needs throughout Iowa.
If your church supports a qualifying ministry, we encourage you to submit an application before July 31st.
