INTERESTING FACTS
Lamoni is home to a campus of Graceland University just up the street from our church. So even though it is a small rural, farming community, it still has a decent number of young people and young families. Our church has a long-standing history and a lot of tradition. For many years, the church’s slogan has been, “Everyone is significant.” We want to build on and adapt this in the future. The question we are asking now is, “How do we present the gospel in a manner that will attract future generations of the Lamoni community?”
UPCOMING EVENTS & PROJECTS
Pray for our Sunday and Wednesday evening events as we decide when to resume meeting for those services. Pray for our midweek Bible studies currently held over Zoom to effectively build up our church family in their faith.
OTHER PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray for me and my wife Rosalind for wisdom in how we lead the church. Pray that we would be led by the Holy Spirit in all we do. Pray for unity within the body as we go through a transitional period as I start my role as the new pastor. Pray for provision and that God would provide for all the material and financial needs that will arise. And pray for the Lamoni community, that our church can cast a gospel net out into the community and for effective strategies on how to do that.
