Bluegrass Worship & Inspiring Messages • Replant Rural Summit

Rural pastors from all over the country came together for a retreat full of encouragement and networking at The Replant Rural Summit that took place on March 30-31 in Salina, Kansas. They were able to interact with some of the key leaders in rural ministry, including Mark Clifton and Andy Addis from the Rural Pastor Podcast, Kyle Bueerman from the Replant Hub, and Joe Wright from the Bivocational and Small Church Leadership Network.

But that’s not all! The summit also featured bluegrass worship led by the incredibly talented Chosen Road. This awesome bluegrass band is on their way to performing at the Grand Ole Opry soon!

Mark Clifton’s session was particularly inspiring, as he spoke about encountering storms even when you’re journeying with Jesus. He emphasized the importance of preparing for storms before they hit and gave four essential things needed to weather the storm: a key scripture, a hymn or song, a friend from another church, and a prayer.

Andy Addis talked about the uniqueness of preaching and the need for it to be “rightly handled” and tailored to the congregation. He reminded everyone that we are all preaching the same story.

Overall, the Replant Rural Summit was an amazing opportunity for rural pastors to come together, be encouraged, and build relationships with other leaders in rural ministry. We can’t wait to see what great things come out of this event in the future!
