The Friendship Center is a local non-profit ministry started by the Baptist Convention of Iowa in 1982. We have recently cast new vision for the ministry as an affilite of Love in the Name of Christ (Love INC).
Love INC of Des Moines is now seeking an Executive Director to provide direction, leadership, and oversight to develop the ministry to serve churches as they meet needs in the Des Moines metro.
Love In the Name of Christ of Des Moines is a local nonprofit organization composed of a group of local partner Christian churches. These partner churches are dedicated to mobilizing themselves and future partner churches to help local people in need.
Love INC is seeking an experienced professional to give direction, leadership, and oversight toward the achievement of the vision, mission, and model of Love In the Name of Christ; develop, implement, and manage the strategic goals and objectives of Love INC; and ensure that the affiliate operates according to Love INC best practices.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for mobilizing churches to help people in need. Excellent verbal and written communication skills that engage both heart and mind required. Requires leadership experience in nonprofit, social work, ministry, community development, or related field.
