Seminary Tuition Grants Available Through BCI Advancement Funds
The Baptist Convention of Iowa is committed to investing in the future of the church by developing the next generation of ministry leaders.
This year, up to 10 students from BCI churches may receive seminary tuition grants through the new BCI Advancement Funds. These grants provide $500 per semester for eligible full-time master’s-level seminary students who are preparing for ministry and actively serving in a local church.
Tuition Scholarships & the BCI Advancement Fund
The BCI Advancement Funds were created to strengthen gospel ministry across Iowa by supporting key areas of ministry development, including church planting, ministry residencies, seminary tuition assistance, and pastor retirement benefits. Seminary grants are one practical way BCI churches are investing together in future pastors, church planters, missionaries, and ministry leaders.
Through the generosity and partnership of Iowa churches, these funds help remove barriers for students pursuing theological education while preparing to serve Christ and His Church. Since the Fall of 2021, 71 scholarships have been awarded to seminary students.
If you are a seminary student from a BCI church or know someone who may qualify, we encourage you to learn more about the program and application process.
