Iowa Campers On Mission
A practical ministry serving churches across Iowa
For the first time, Iowa will host the National Campers On Mission Rally, June 2–4 at the Amana RV Park & Event Center in Amana, Iowa.
But what exactly does Iowa Campers On Mission do?
How Campers On Mission Helps Churches
Many Iowa churches have building needs, maintenance projects, repairs, or upgrades that can be difficult to tackle with limited volunteers and tight budgets.
That’s where Iowa Campers On Mission can help.
Iowa COM is a network of believers who volunteer their time and skills to serve churches and Christian ministries across the state. Churches provide project materials, while volunteers bring labor, tools, experience, and servant hearts.
Recent projects have included worship space additions, painting, lighting upgrades, siding work, railings, repairs, and camp preparation projects.
Just as importantly, they bring encouragement and partnership.
Many church members would love to serve in a practical ministry like this—they simply may not know it exists.
If your church has members who enjoy camping, construction, repairs, or helping others, Campers On Mission may be a natural fit.
If your church has project needs, Iowa COM may be able to help.
