Inside Look: BCI Pastors Meet with Local Believers and Ministry Teams in Erbil, Istanbul, and Moldova
BCI Pastors and leaders recently returned from an eventful and eye-opening vision trip to Erbil, Iraq, Istanbul, Turkey, and Moldova. The trip was held from April 17-28 and aimed to provide an opportunity for BCI leadership to meet with ministry teams and local believers to learn about the challenges they face and identify opportunities for future partnerships.
BCI Leaders Meet with Ministry Teams in Erbil, Istanbul, and Moldova
The trip began in Erbil, Iraq, where the group met with three ministry teams and spent some time hearing from local believers. The BCI team had the chance to learn about the challenges faced by the ministry teams and local believers and explore ways in which they could work together to overcome them.
After their time in Iraq, the group moved on to Istanbul, Turkey, where they met with Daniel Project Personnel and two ministry teams. They also spent a day sightseeing in Ephesus before returning to Istanbul. There, they visited the Sultanhamet Mosque, Topkopi Palace, and the Hagia Sophia.
The BCI team then moved on to Moldova, where they spent three days meeting with Bible school leadership to consider future partnerships. They also traveled to Gagauzia and met with local believers to learn about the challenges they face and explore ways in which BCI could provide support.
Exploring Opportunities for Future Partnerships

We were able to learn about the challenges they face and explore ways in which BCI could provide support. We also had the chance to see some of the amazing sights in Turkey and visit Gagauzia. We are excited about the opportunities for future partnerships and look forward to continuing to work with our brothers and sisters in the region.”
