It has been a busy summer for the Student and Children’s Ministries at Coram Deo Bible Church, and God has certainly been at work in wonderful ways!
Our Student Summer Camp was held June 17-21, and it was an incredible time with over 240 students, leaders, and staff in attendance. Our theme for the week was “Fearless” as we focused on 2 Timothy 1:7, and explored how we can live fearlessly through trusting in Christ. Throughout the week, the students participated in a variety of games and activities while also taking advantage of attending various workshops (ranging from mental health to social media) taught by some of our staff and leaders. The students opened up tremendously, and we saw them unite on a whole new level. We also had five new decisions made for the Lord!
Our Kids High Five Summer Day Camp on July 15-19 was another amazing week as we “Powered Up” to live godly lives through the power of Jesus Christ living in us (2 Peter 1:3). These five days were filled with so many kids, students, and adults who used their gifts to do everything for the glory of God. Our church was full of 350 kids and 210 leaders who all participated in 22 different electives. Through these electives, times of large group teaching, and lots of worship, we learned how important it is to know God and His Word. Through the week, we saw 29 decisions made for Christ!
