Leslie Banwart Resigns from BCI Children’s Ministry Support Role

– Thank you for your service, Leslie!

In May we said goodbye to Leslie Banwart, our recent BCI Children’s Ministry support leader. One of her primary roles was facilitating the Children’s Ministry Cohort. With her first-hand experience leading the Children’s ministry at Restoration Church in Adel, Leslie made a significant impact during her time serving children’s ministry leaders through BCI.

Joyful Leadership for the BCI Children’s Ministry Cohort

In speaking about Leslie’s contribution to BCI, Chris Mavity said, “She did an outstanding job facilitating BCI Children’s Ministry support this past season. Leslie brought a helpful mix of eagerness, joy, and genuine passion for Children’s Ministry to all that she did. We’ll certainly miss her valuable contributions. Thank you, Leslie!

Authentic and Encouraging Sharing

Reflecting on one of their early Children’s Ministry Cohort meetings, Leslie said, “Our time together [in the Children’s Ministry Cohort] was filled with honest sharing, authentic laughing, and relationship building. It was encouraging to spend the afternoon with other kingdom workers who are in the day-to-day grind of discipling children and families in our churches and shining the light of Jesus in our communities. Thank you so much to the BCI for prioritizing disciple-making among people of all ages and supporting the children’s ministry leaders of the church.”

Thank You, Leslie!

On behalf of the BCI Executive Board and staff team, we want to thank Leslie for her joyful work. God bless!
