This December was a great month for The Salt Company – Iowa City. We had a great end to our semester, as well as some much needed rest during winter break.
We are so amazed by how God is still drawing in more students to our ministry, even at our last few meetings. The previous year our last two meetings had an attendance of 145 and 185 respectively. This year we ended at 225 and 287. This reveals how much God has grown the ministry. We never went below 200 people this semester, which shows our students are more consistent, and devoted. We know that numbers aren’t everything, but we also realize that these are lives being changed by the gospel-and that excites us!
We have possibly nine more students that will join our leadership team this next semester. As the planning for the leadership retreat and spring retreat continue, we get more and more excited for what God will do in and through our students over the next few months. We have no doubt that He will continue to work and are blessed to be a part of it.
The staff has been able to rest and be with family over the holidays, which has been much needed and appreciated. We are thankful for each person that is on staff and love the team it has become.
