What if you could find a summer conference that would engage, equip, and empower your Middle School and High School students to be prepared to share their faith now and into the future?
What if you could do that at a fantastic facility with great speakers, great worship, great breakouts, and students would have more fun than they would know what to do with?
What if you could find a place where you can drop your students off, and know that they would be taken care of, and that they would have a week of transformation?
We would like to introduce to you “Resonate!” This conference is being hosted at Grandview University in Des Moines. It is a 5 day conference that is packed with Gospel training for Middle School and High School students. The dates are Monday, July 23 to Friday, July 27. It begins with supper on Monday evening, and ends with breakfast on Friday morning. This schedule allows you to have your full Sunday worship, and bring the kids on Monday. It also allows for a full weekend of activities at the end of the week. We are thinking of families as we build this yearly conference. The cost for the week is $320. This includes everything we will do, including all meals, and even all the bedding and linens! Just bring your Bible, and get here!
Your students will be a part of:
  • Being engaged in a Gospel Worldview.
  • Being equipped for Servant Leadership.
  • Being empowered to be Disciple Makers who impact culture.
We look forward to hearing from Chris Davis in our evening sessions. Chris is a husband of 17 years, dad of 3, and has been in ministry 12 years, pastoring for 7 of them. He loves His Savior, his family, and he lives to make disciples of Christ at all costs. He is a writer, speaker, author, and currently the Pastor of Discipleship at Resurrection Church in Bakersfield, CA. Chris is the author of “Discipleship State of Mind,” a handbook on developing Biblical Disciples.
Our morning Bible teacher is Cole Deike. Cole is the lead planting pastor for Frontier Church. Frontier Church exists for the glory of Jesus and the joy of Des Moines, Iowa. Before his call to church planting, Cole was a high school English teacher and wrestling coach. He enjoys ministry with his beautiful wife and precious new son.
Our worship leader is Travis Tjelmeland. Travis began his pursuit of ministry through music in 2013 when he borrowed his roommate’s guitar to learn four chords and write his first song. In 2016, he released his first album, Connect the Dots, under the pseudonym CURATOR. Since then, The Lord has blessed Travis with opportunities to serve as a worship leader at various youth camps and retreats as well as at Redeemer Church in Cedar Rapids, IA, where he also serves as a youth leader.
We would love to have you bring your students and any volunteers to be a part of this groundbreaking new Summer Conference for the BCI.
